Last week, O had strep throat. This week, it’s H’s turn and he has a crazy case of it. He’s broken out in hives ALL OVER his body which I guess means the strep throat is scarlet fever (?). The poor guy is sooo miserable because in addition to the fever and the sore throat, this rash has him itching all over. None of us slept well last night.
He’s on his second day of antibiotics so my fingers are crossed that things will start getting better for him today. This morning he woke up and it has literally spread to every inch of his body. His face is covered with hives, his ears are covered with hives, his feet are covered with hives…. It’s so hard to see your child so miserable…
